The "Turtle Homeward Bound" turtle protection volunteer service project has won the "Fourth China Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition Gold Award" (the highest honour for volunteer service in China), "Fourth China Youth Volunteer Service Competition Silver Award" (Hainan Province), "Fourth China Youth Volunteer Service Competition Silver Award" (Hainan Province), "Four 100" Advanced Types of National Lei Feng Volunteer Service - Best Volunteer Service Project" (the only one in Hainan Province), "The 12th China Youth Volunteer Outstanding Project Award ", "Hainan Provincial Volunteer Service Competition Gold Award" and many other national and provincial honors. The Sea Turtle Protection Association was selected as "National College Students' Science and Technology Volunteer Service Demonstration Team".
