More than 200 students from the team actively participated in the research project on turtles and tortoises, covering topics such as animal ecology, behavior, reproductive biology, physiology, toxicology, pathology, and pathogenicity. As of 2021, the team of students has won 1 international level project, 9 Hainan Province graduate innovation and research projects, 21 national level university student innovation and entrepreneurship training projects, and 18 Hainan Province university student innovation and entrepreneurship training projects. All projects have successfully achieved the expected goals and achieved significant results.
